Chris Kjeldsen is the owner of Ground Floor Home Inspection, Inc. and one of a few national technical trainers for American Home Inspector Training (AHIT).
We now have FOUR CE-credit classes for Realtors approved by DORA, and TWO classes that focus on realtor safety (not CE approved by DORA). We'd love to have one or more of our qualified inspector/instructors on your schedule if you host CE classes or even "Lunch and Learns."

Real Estate Self Defense Part 1 - Situational Awareness (no CE - 1 Hour)
Real estate professionals are at risk every day. Meeting new clients, open houses, letting strangers in your car, showing houses, meeting strangers and marketing are all situations that put a realtor at risk.

This class is the first of a two-part class. This first part focuses on situational awareness and steps to avoid being a victim. The inspectors at Ground Floor Home Inspection, Inc. have 60 years of combined experience training and teaching karate under the system of Universal Kempo Karate, so in addition to their passion for quality home inspections, they are all about self-defense.

Realtor Self Defense 2 - Practical Application (no CE - 2 hour)
Real estate professionals are at risk every day. Meeting new clients, open houses, letting strangers in your car, showing houses, meeting strangers, and marketing are all situations that put a realtor at risk. This class is the second of a two-part class. This second class will focus on hands-on training as far as self-defense. The attendee will learn basic physical techniques for self-defense. The inspectors at Ground Floor Home Inspection, Inc. have sixty years of combined experience training and teaching karate under the system of Universal Kempo Karate, so In addition to having a passion in home inspection, they also have a passion for teaching self-defense.

2 CE - Marijuana in Real Estate
The legalization of marijuana in Colorado and its effect on real estate is a topic that has become an increasing concern to all those involved in the real estate transaction. This class will look at some of the history and statistics surrounding the legalization of marijuana and then some of the concerns that this has had on the Colorado housing industry.

2 CE - The Standard Home Inspection Agreement
The Standard Home Inspection Agreement will help the realtor understand the normal agreement between the home inspector and the client. A full understanding of the expectations is a must in helping any transaction succeed. This class will take the guesswork out of standard home inspection agreements, helping more transactions follow to a successful conclusion with satisfied home buyers. 1 CE - When Does the Inspection Start?
